Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd, the wholly owned subsidiary of Suria Capital Holdings Berhad, was awarded the Corporate Excellence Award in the Logistics Sector for Port Management at The International Business Review ASEAN Awards (IBRAA) 2025, held 19 July 2025 at Sabah International Convention Centre in Kota Kinabalu.

Managing Director, Datuk Ng Kiat Min, received the award trophy from H.E. Sarah Al Bakri Devadason, the Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN.

In her acceptance speech, Datuk Ng Kiat Min highlighted the contributions of the ground staff, engineers, and support team to ensure that the eight ports under their purview can continue to run safely, effectively and efficiently. She likewise thanked the company’s board of directors, partners, stakeholders, port users, the Sabah Port Authority, and the state government, for their trust in their capabilities.

“This award affirms our journey, and at the same time, inspires us to go further for innovation, excellence and sustainability as we support trade and development for Sabah and beyond. Let us move forward together with pride, purpose, and determination.”
