R&B and UK Garage king Craig David is set to ignite the Kuala Lumpur stage with his exclusive concert “Craig David Presents TS5: Live in Kuala Lumpur”, scheduled to take place on 10 November 2025 at Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur.
This concert marks the legendary singer’s long-awaited return to Malaysia after more than a decade, promising to heal the longing of local fans who have followed his musical journey since the early 2000s. Adding to the excitement, his return coincides with the release of his ninth studio album, titled Commitment, which is set to drop on 8 August 2025.
Described as Craig David’s most personal work to date, Commitment explores the themes of devotion and his evolution as an artist. The album features collaborations with global stars such as Tiwa Savage, JoJo, and Louisa Johnson, and blends the nostalgic vibe of Born To Do It with fresh, contemporary musical elements.
The upcoming show will spotlight his signature TS5 concept—a unique hybrid of live vocals and DJ sets that has elevated Craig David into a global phenomenon since its inception in 2012. Originally launched as a home radio broadcast from his apartment in Miami, TS5 has since toured prestigious stages around the world including Ibiza, Dubai, London, and Tokyo—and now, for the very first time, it will be showcased live in Malaysia.
Fans can expect a high-energy, dynamic night filled with hit songs from Craig David’s two-decade career such as Fill Me In, 7 Days, Walking Away, What’s Your Flava, and When The Bassline Drops.
Craig David first gained international attention through his collaboration with Artful Dodger on Re-Rewind, before soaring to solo success with Fill Me In, becoming the youngest male solo artist to top the UK charts. His debut album Born To Do It (2000) sold over 7 million copies worldwide and has been hailed by MTV and The Guardian as one of the greatest albums of all time.
Over the course of his career, Craig David has sold more than 13 million albums, received numerous prestigious accolades including 3 Ivor Novello Awards, 2 MTV Europe Music Awards, and 14 BRIT Award nominations. In 2021, he was also awarded an MBE by the late Queen Elizabeth II for his contributions to music and philanthropy.
